Who are the Monterey Peninsula Voices?

The Monterey Peninsula Voices are a user-friendly group for both our members and for our audiences (we like to mix it up in terms of program offerings, with something for everyone).

There’s so much wonderful music to be heard in the Monterey/Carmel region that our Conductor has developed a knack for finding ways we can stand out from the crowd.

We’re more than just a collection of people who get together once a week to sing. We’ve become an extended family whose activities and interests go beyond singing. So even if you’re not a singer, there are many ways you can become a part of our group and enjoy the benefits of working and playing with this diverse, talented, warm group of people.

MPV is a non-auditioned choir that is always looking for good singers.  If you can hear a pitch and sing it, you can be a part of our choir!  Our next sesason will begin in January, 2023 with concerts on Mother's Day weekend. Click here to get more information on being a member of MPV.

Our Mission:  To create community through the joy of learning and sharing choral music.

Our Vision:  To sing in a healthy, vibrant, and harmonious world where people of every ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and ability feel respected, valued, and appreciated.

Join Monterey Peninsula Voices  as we collaborate with the choirs at Salinas High School and Pacific Grove High School to encourage our community to reach out and love each other more, and truly see each other as we are and as we might be someday!  We want to empower and equip our youth to keep dreaming, keep loving, and stand strong together!  Our concert, "Stronger Together", will make you think, dream, and feel more deeply than you have before. Our differences bring us together, our voices united make us stronger. And we are Stronger Together!  Join us and raise your voice! Concerts will be on Mother's Day Weekend (May 12-14, 2023 - Locations TBD).
