The Monterey Peninsula Voices are a user-friendly group for both our members and for our audiences (we like to mix it up in terms of program offerings, with something for everyone).
There’s so much wonderful music to be heard in the Monterey/Carmel region that our Conductor has developed a knack for finding ways we can stand out from the crowd.
We’re more than just a collection of people who get together once a week to sing. We’ve become an extended family whose activities and interests go beyond singing. So even if you’re not a singer, there are many ways you can become a part of our group and enjoy the benefits of working and playing with this diverse, talented, warm group of people.
The Monterey Peninsula Voices Choir has been invited to perform at the Pacific Grove Independence Day celebration. We'll have rehearsals on Mondays, June 12, 19 & 26, July 3 at 7 PM at First Presbyterian church of Monterey and performance on Tuesday July 4. at about 11 am. We’ll do the National Anthem and a Medley of Armed forces songs (same as last time) and two songs from our Spring Concert To register, go to mpvoices.org/join
MPV is a non-auditioned choir that is always looking for good singers. If you can hear a pitch and sing it, you can be a part of our choir! Our next sesason will begin in August, 2023 with concerts on the second weekend of December. Click here to get more information on being a member of MPV.
